BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – On Saturday, the Turkish Army and
their rebel allies launched their 8th assault
 at the village of
Al-Suflaniyah after taking a short hiatus from the battle in order to
regroup.

With a large force and heavy armory, the Turkish Army and rebels
stormed Al-Suflaniyah on Saturday, striking the Islamic State (ISIS)
terrorists from the northern perimeter of the village.
However, the Turkish Army’s infiltration attempt would take a turn
for the worse on Saturday, when several of their vehicles were destroyed
by the Islamic State terrorists protecting Al-Suflaniyah.

With
their casualties mounting, the Turkish Army and their rebel allies made
a strategic withdraw from Al-Suflaniyah’s northern flank; thus,
abruptly ending their 8th assault on the village.

The Islamic State’s official media wing, Al-‘Amaq, released photos of
the failed assault on Saturday night, showing images of destroyed
Turkish armored vehicles outside of Al-Suflaniyah.
Al-Suflaniyah is located east of the strategic Aleppo Governorate
city of Al-Bab, which is considered one of the Islamic State’s last
strongholds in the province.
