Ο πρωθυπουργός της Τουρκίας Αχμέτ Νταβούτογλου κατηγόρησε τον ηγέτη
των Κούρδων Σελαχατίν Ντεμιρτάς ότι συνεργάζεται «με εκείνους εξαιτίας
των οποίων η Τουρκία βιώνει προβλήματα».
Η δήλωση έγινε με αφορμή την επίσκεψη του Κούρδου ηγέτη στη Μόσχα και στη συνάντηση που είχε με Ρώσους ανώτερους αξιωματούχους.


Ο κ. Ντεμιρτάς επικρίθηκε έντονα στην Τουρκία για την επίσκεψη στη
Μόσχα, καθώς εκφράζονται φόβοι ότι οι Κούρδοι θα συνεργαστούν με τη
Ρωσία.

Μετά τη συνάντηση με τον υπουργό Εξωτερικών της Ρωσίας Σεργκέι
Λαβρόφ, ο ηγέτης του Κόμματος Δημοκρατίας των Λαών (HDP), δήλωσε ότι η
Τουρκία δεν θα έπρεπε να έχει καταρρίψει το βομβαρδιστικό Σουχόι Su-24
της ρωσικής Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας, ενώ είναι ανάγκη να βρεθεί ένας τρόπος
να τερματιστεί η κρίση στις διμερείς σχέσεις που προκάλεσε το επεισόδιο
αυτό.
«Επικρίναμε στις ενέργειες της κυβέρνησης όταν [ένα τουρκικό
καταδιωκτικό F-16] κατέρριψε το ρωσικό αεροσκάφος», δήλωσε ο Ντεμιρτάς.
«Προβλήματα μεταξύ κρατών θα εγείρονται πάντα, αλλά είναι απαραίτητο να
αφήνεται ανοιχτός ο δρόμος για μια πολιτική και διπλωματική διευθέτηση»,
πρόσθεσε ο Κούρδος ηγέτης

Σύμφωνα με ανακοίνωση του ρωσικού υπουργείου Εξωτερικών «οι δύο
αξιωματούχοι επίσης συζήτησαν τις εξελίξεις στην Μέση Ανατολή, με βάση
τις προσπάθειες – περιλαμβανομένων των προσπαθειών των Κούρδων – για την
επίλυση της κρίσης στη Συρία και την αντιμετώπιση του Ισλαμικού Κράτους
και άλλων τρομοκρατικών οργανώσεων».

with Turkish People’s Democratic Party leader Selahattin Demirtas,

Mr Demirtas, Dear friends,

We are pleased to welcome the delegation of the People’s Democratic
Party (PDP), which plays a visible role in Turkey’s political and public
life, as is evidenced by the results of recent parliamentary elections.
You have a political platform that is geared toward ensuring the rights
of all ethnic groups in Turkey, thus promoting national unity. We have
invariably supported this path.

You are in Moscow at a time when relations between Russia and Turkey
have become difficult for well-known reasons. In his public remarks,
President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly – among other things, at a
recent news conference – considered in detail our position on the
current situation. Our attitude towards the move sanctioned by Turkey’s
present leadership, related to the Russian plane on an antiterrorist
mission, does not in any way extend to our attitude towards the people
of Turkey as a whole. This friendly attitude is based on years of living
together in joint cultural, humanitarian and economic projects. I’m
confident that this will remain between our peoples forever. We will
always have warm, friendly feelings toward the Turkish people.

We very much hope that during your visit to Moscow, we will be able
to address the situation in the region. It is very important to bring
together the capabilities of all those determined to fight terrorism as
part of the international community’s efforts to resolve the Syria
crisis. We know that Iraqi and Syrian Kurds are among those who are
fighting the threat of ISIS and other extremist groups on the ground.
Together with the Iraqi and Syrian armies they are fighting for their
homes, for the right to live on their land. This is their inalienable
right, as is the right of Christians, Yazidis and other minorities to
remain on their ancestral land and not be exposed to deadly threats from
terrorists. Russia, which is participating in the antiterrorist
operation at the request of the Syrian Government, is willing to
cooperate with those who are fighting this threat on the ground. We are
ready and interested to take your assessments into account in our work
on this complex track.
