For the time being, our combatants in western Serêkaniyê have directed and reached in Siluk town and Raqqa countryside where they endure to exercise a gallant resistance against terrorist threats. In these area, thousands of square kilometers have been cleansed of Daesh terrorists. Local inhabitants with the vast variation in their components have shown a lively elation and express their joy. These victories, indeed, could not be accomplished without so much sacrifice that was expressed by fallen martyrs and daring warriors in our fighting forces.

Yet it is completely clear that these triumphs have frustrated some sides that the destruction of ISIS takes no place within their interests. For that, with all their vigor and through all immoral methods, they attempt to undermine the successes that have been achieved with the active cooperation of local components.

Some media foundations who are ruled by regional powers, work desperately to make up groundless scenarios and impute our forces with baseless accusations of oppression, as they try to show a picture of an ongoing racist war of this military campaign. These claims are far from truth and together they constitute a plot that tries to show the contrary of what is really taking place on the ground. Those who entitle these stories, want to carry out the confusion to reduce local people’s unity that Daesh terrorists could not complete.

This happens at a time that tens of our non-Kurdish combatants, Arabs and Christian Assyrians have been martyred in action while heroically protecting their freedom values during the resistance against Daesh terrorists. Headstones of martyrs cemeteries throughout Rojava are signs of truth for those who attempt to conceal the truth. It is in the light of this historical unity in support that the fight against ISIS triumphs.

We shall ask openly from those sides who blame our forces, where were you when Daesh terrorists carried out a range of brutal massacres in the villages of Rawiya, Dehma and Khabur?

Today, after we have rescued those areas from Daesh, those groups try once again to do damage to our force by their untrue allegations. These approaches are out of responsibility and aim to offer a pleasant image of Daesh terrorists to legitimize their presence in the region; it also displays that how far those sides are from the ground realities.

We as the People’s Defense Units will not be afraid of revealing the realities, for that our door will always remain open for the international media. Once again we call on all groups and individuals who want to observe the truth to come to the region, to not only source those dependent media foundations. Most of those reporting outlets are made of delusional sources and serve the interests of the opponents of our people who desire to clean the region of terrorist savagery.

The acts of terror that our Druze brothers in Qalb Lawzeh village, Idlib, encountered were not less than what is happening against them in Suwayda. The objective of these actions is to deepen the grave situation in Syria and to thrust and maintain Syrian components into a long fight. Condemning these shocking actions, we as the YPG will move upon our force to protect them; now we say this, and always we shall repeat. We invite all Syrian people to strengthen their support and build up their unity for the good of all sides.

At the same time we appeal to those civilians in all areas that come under ISIS terrorists’ occupation, for their safety and security, not to leave to the borders outside country but to direct towards safe areas in interior cities like Hasaka and Serekaniye in Jazira region, Rojava. We reassure them that we will guarantee their security and all of their humanitarian needs. They can return to their villages and properties once peace comes back to our region.
