After the publication, on Monday, of an audio recording of the
alleged murderer of three Kurdish militants, a secret document published
by Kurdish and Turkish media refers to the preparation of the
assassination of Sakine Cansız, co- founder of the PKK, killed Jan. 9,
2013 together with, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez.
The document is titled: “Ref: Sakine Cansız, codenamed Sara” and
bears the signature of MIT (Turkish Intelligence Services) head of
department Ugur Kaan Ayik, as well as of three other executives: O.
Yüret, S. Asal, H. Özcan.
This document classified as “secret”, dated November 18, 2011 and
describes the information provided by an agent named “Legionnaire” on
Sakine Cansız.
According to the document a meeting with agent “Legionnaire” took
place in Turkey and in this context six thousand euros were paid to him
in the preparation for the assassination. The document speaks about the
planning of the order of elimination to be prepared by “Legionnaire”.
This new revelation comes after the publication on YouTube of an
audio recording thought to feature the voice of Ömer Güney, the alleged
murderer of the three Kurdish women politicians, arrested in January
2013.
It seems that the document was written one month before the last
visit Ömer Güney paid to Turkey. The man’s passport which had been
hidden behind the radio console of his car has allowed to trace several
trips to Istanbul and Ankara made by Güney in 2012. His last trip was
between December 18 to 21 just a few weeks before the killings.

“SUBMISSION NOTE
SUBJECT: Sakine CANSIZ, codenamed Sara
LEGIONNAIRE who we talked to in order to unveil the KONGRA-GEL (PKK)
KCK’s activities in FRANCE/Paris and the restraint of senior members of
the organisation stated in the email he sent to us in October 2012 that
Sakine CANSIZ, code-named  Sara, one of the prominent staff of the 
KONGRA-GEL (PKK) KCK has arrived in Le Bel in Paris/Villiers.
Sakine CANSIZ, code-named Sara, who came to France a few days after
the arrest of Adem UZUN by French security forces, performed the
official procedures such as residence permit and passport renewal
through the Source in the scope of the assignments made by the
organisation.
During his last visit to our country for a meeting with us, the
Source was instructed to make preparations aimed at the persons
determined in line with his attack/sabotage/assassination style
operative opportunity/abilities against the organisation targets in
Europe, to obtain the equipment to be used during the work, and to show
ultimate attention to any kind of communication with our side, and was
provided with 6000 EURO for probable spendings.
The Source who has the opportunity/ability to stay informed about
Sakine CANSIZ, code named Sara, activities across Europe in the coming
period, her contacts, correspondences and residence address could also
be considered for an operational planning intended for the restraint of
the mentioned member of the organisation.
In this context, also considering the Source and activity safety, it
is being planned to instruct LEGIONNAIRE for a move against Sakine
CANSIZ, codenamed Sara by means of the formerly designated coded
statements.
